The Big White Ski Resort has received numerous awards in the past, such as the "best weather in Canada" by Ski Canada Magazine. Ski Canada Magazine also gave the following awards to Big White Ski Resort in its 2002/2003 edition: "Best Opportunity to Ski All-Natural Snow"; "Best New Accommodations" to its Grizzly Lodge; "Best Family Resorts"; "top ten in Canada for the most vertical"; and "powder quality." The London Daily Mail has also in the past rated The Big White Ski Resort as one of the top five ski resorts in the world.
