Skiing in Las Vegas
Yes, Virginia, there is skiing in Las Vegas. Well, okay,
maybe not exactly in Las Vegas, but it's only a 1-hour drive
from the Las Vegas Strip. That means you can wake up in the
morning at your casino hotel, play some slots or video poker
after breakfast, then head up 17 miles on Highway 156 to Lee
Canyon for an hour where you'll ski in the afternoon, then
drive back down the mountain where you can have dinner, catch a
Vegas show, play cards, a little roulette, or...whatever.
